Crochet leaf table mat
I am sure they gonna love it.
I am not gonna tell you what yarn or crochet hook to use. If you want make it smaller or bigger always depends on the yarn and crochet hook.
Abbreviations :
Ch-chain
Tr-treble crochet
Dc-double crochet
Sk-skip
Sc-single crochet
Slst-slip stitch
Sp-space
St-stitches
Increase-2 dc in the same stitch}
Pattern :
Row1 :
Make a magic ring then ch 9, 5 tr(treble crochet) into the magic ring, ch 4, 6 tr in the same space,ch 5,slst in to the first 4th ch.
Row2 :
Ch 3,10 dc in the next sp, 6 dc in each of the next st, 2 increases in the ch 4 from previous row(2 dc in the same stitch) ch 4, 2 dc increase in the next 2 ch(total of 4 increases), 6 dc in the next st, 10 dc in the next sp, slst in the 3th ch.
Row3:
Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 1 dc in the next dc×5 times. (1 dc increase+1 dc in the next) ,9 dc in next st, 2 dc in same st×2,ch 4, 2 dc in same st×2,total of 4 increases, 9 dc, 2 dc in same st, 1 dc in the next dc×5 times . (1 dc increase+1 dc in the next) slst in the 3th ch.
Row 4:
Ch 3, 1 dc increase, 2 dc in next st ×5 times,
(where we have the increase we always gonna make increase). 12 dc, ch 2 dc in same st×2,ch 4, 2 dc in same st×2,total of 4 increases, 12 dc, 1 dc increase, 2 dc in next st ×5 times, slst in the 3th ch.
Row5:
Ch 3,1 dc increase, 3 dc in next st ×5 times,
15 dc, 2 increase in next 2 st, ch 4, 2 increase in the next 2 st, 15 dc, 1 dc increase, 3dc in next st×5 times, slst in the 3th ch.
Row 6:
Ch 3,1 dc increase, 4 dc in next st×5 times, 18 dc, 2 increase in next 2 st, ch 4, 2 increase in the next 2 st, 18 dc, 1 dc increase, 4 dc in next st×5 times, slst in the 3th ch.
Row 7:
Ch 3, 1 dc increase, 5 dc in next st×5 times,21 dc, 2 increase in next 2 st, ch 4, 2 increase in the next 2 st, 21 dc,
1 dc increase, 5 dc in next st×5 times. Slst in the 3th ch.
Row 8:
Slst until you are in the middle, Ch 3,1 dc in the same st, ch 3,2 dc in the same st, (total of 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in the same st), skip 4,2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in same st ×12 times,in the middle gonna make 3 dc, ch 3,3 dc,2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc ×11 times. slst in the first dc we make.
Row 9:
Slst until you reach the middle
Ch 3,2 dc in the same sp, ch 3,3 dc in the same sp, (total of 3 dc, ch 3,3 dc), ×12 times, in the middle gonna make 4 dc, ch 3,4 dc, 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc ×11 times. Slst in the first st.
Row 10:
Slst unti you reach the middle
Ch 3,7 dc in the same sp, (total of 8 dc) ×12, in the middle make 4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc, 8 dc in next×11 times. Slst in the first ch.
Row 11:
You can leave the same color or change it. I change with more bright green.
Ch 1,1 sc in each and every st
