Crochet shell stitch

 

I feel like today i am inspired and try different stitches. So i have a new stitch for you today that i am sure you gonna love it and is also very easy to make. With this beautiful stitch you can work dresses/scarfs/blouses or many other projects.

Material :

Acrylic yarn 

2.mm crochet hook 

Abbreviations :

Ch-chain 

Sk-skip 

Dc-double crochet 

Tr-treble crochet 

St-stitch 

Foundation chain :

Multiple of 6+4

Row 1 :

Sk 4,1 dc in every ch until the end. 

Row 2 :

Ch 3(count as first dc) turn your work, *sk 5,1 tr, ch 1,(1 tr, ch 1 for 4 times in the same st) then reapet from* until the last 6 st. Sk 5,1 dc in the last st. 

Row 3 :

Ch 1,turn your work, 1 sc in the same ch 1,

*2 sc in the previous ch 1,1 sc in the previous ch 1,ch 2,1 sc in the previous ch 1, 2 sc in the previous ch 1, 1 sc in the next ch-space, reapet from*. 1 sc in the last st. 

Row 4:

Ch 3(count as first dc) turn your work, 

*1 tr in the previous ch 2, ch 1(1 tr, ch 1 for 4 times in the same ch-space) reapet from*. 1 dc in the last st. 

Repeat rows 3-4 until the length desire.
