Crochet blanket

Today we will make a blanket using the technique of crocheting.

Acrylic yarn in 2 colours

3.5 mm crochet hook

Make 20 mortif for our blanket

We will work with white and red color.

The main color will be white but some rows we will work some stitches with red.

Row 1: white color 

Make a mc,ch 1 (not count as st)make 12 sc in the mc,slst in the first sc.

Row 2:

Ch 3 (count as first dc) 1 dc in the next 2sts,*ch 3,1 dc in the next 3sts*, reapet from*to*×2 times(total of 4 times). Ch 3,slst in the first ch 3.

Row 3:

Ch 3(count as first dc)bring the red color,1 dc with the red color, 1 dc with white color then *3dc-ch3-3 dc in the ch-sp with white color,1 dc with white color,1 dc with red color, 1 dc with white color* from*to*(total of 4 times),slst in the first ch 3.

Row 4:

Ch 3 (count as first dc) with red color,1 dc in the next 2 sts,1 dc in the next 3 sts with white color,*3dc-ch3-3 dc in the ch-sp with white color, 1 dc in the next 3 sts with white color, 1 dc in the next 3 sts with red color, 1 dc in the next 3 sts with white color*, reapet from*to*until you reach your last 3 sts, 1 dc in the next 3 sts with white color.After you finish your last dc,change the color with red and do a slst in the first ch 3.

Row 5:

Ch 3 with red color then ch 1 with white color, 1 dc with white color,2 dc with red color,*5 dc with white color,3dc-ch3-3 dc in the ch-sp with white color,5 dc with white color, 2 dc with red color, 1 dc with white color, 2 dc with red color*repeat from* to*until you reach your last 6 sts,5 dc with white color, 1 dc with red color,when you do slst in the first ch 3 change the color with white color.

Row 6:

Ch 3 with white color (count as first dc)1 dc in the next 2 sts with white color, 2 dc with red color,

*7 dc with white color,3dc-ch3-3 dc in the ch-sp with white color,7dc with white color, 2 dc with red color,3 dc with white color, 2 dc with red color*, reapet from*to*until you reach your last 9sts,7 dc with white color, 2 dc with red color,before you make the slst change to white color then make slst.

Row 7:

Ch 3 with white color (count as first dc),1 dc in the next 3 sts,2 dc with red color,*9 dc with white color,3dc-ch3-3 dc in the ch-sp with white color,9dc with white color, 2 dc with red color, 5 dc with white color, 2 dc with red color*, reapet from*to * until you reach your last 12 sts,9dc with white color, 2 dc with red color, 1 dc with white color,slst in the first ch 3.

Join them:

Put 5 granny square motif in row and join them with row of sc ,once you reach ch-sp you will do 3 sc-ch2-3 sc.

Then again put another 5 up on the previous 5 and join them with sc.

Border:

With red color

Row 1:

Ch 3 ,fpdc in all the stitches when you reach the corners you will work 2 fpdc-ch1-2 fpdc.

Row 2:

 

Ch 3 ,fpdc in all the stitches when you reach the corners you will work 2 fpdc-ch1-2 fpdc.
